When most people think of straightforward new build, they imagine a standard square or rectangle — but at this traditional home in King’s Lynn, Distinct Designs took a more imaginative approach. We introduced a curved element to link the principal living spaces, this increased the square footage while adding architectural interest and flow to the home, and dealt with an irregular site footprint boundary. Careful material selection ensured enhanced character and timeless façade treatment.
Inside, the design mirrors the exterior’s elegance with a beautifully crafted first-floor galleried landing and staircase, echoing the curve of the external wall. This project showcases how thoughtful, creative architecture can transform not only ones living standards but also its personality and feel.
