Barn conversion – Hulme, Wisbech St Mary

Works are being finalised to this period barn conversion which retained the exterior 1825 period features including masonry ties and circular gauged arches to window apertures. Internal double height spaces and stair galley introduced a bespoke open plan design. The scheme involved improving the building fabric thermal performance through new perimeter wall linings combined with new glazing, roof and ground floor enhancements.

Distinct Designs UK Ltd worked with the client throughout the feasibility, planning and building regulation process, together with negotiation of many bat related issues.
